MOTHERS of PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)

 The church is sponsoring a program called MOPS for mother of preschoolers. It is designed to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. This is an amazing time for the church and we are so blessed to have such dedicated members who are devoting their time and energy in the name of Jesus Christ. If you feel called to volunteer your time to help with the program, please contact Stephanie Howell who coordinates the program.

News in a Flash !!

• Congrats to Eloise for winning the Apple iPOD Nano in one of our summer fund raisers.
• The “Shorties for Jesus” little peoples group is going strong, if you are interested ask how you can get involved
• A lock in for all Middle and High School youth was held June 20th at 7:00.
• Vacation Bible School with the Community United Methodist Church was a big success and pictures will be available soon.
• There is a desperate need for food in Eastern NC. Please send checks to Food Banks of Eastern NC, PO Box 1704, Elizabeth City, NC 27906. Food donations go to 109 Tidewater Way, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
• Volunteers are needed for the nursery please see Pat Moore if you can help.
