MOTHERS of PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)

 The church is sponsoring a program called MOPS for mother of preschoolers. It is designed to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. This is an amazing time for the church and we are so blessed to have such dedicated members who are devoting their time and energy in the name of Jesus Christ. If you feel called to volunteer your time to help with the program, please contact Stephanie Howell who coordinates the program.

News in a Flash !!

• Church clean up day on April 26 was very successful with good participation. Take a look around and see how many changes you can spot.
• The BPC construction crew completed their 2nd day of work on the Habitat house in Stem. Work is progressing well and over 2/3s of the sheetrock has been installed.
• Gleaning Sunday is scheduled for March 30th. Please bring canned goods or nonperishable food for donations to the Butner Church Council’s food pantry.
• The “Shorties for Jesus” little peoples group is going strong, if you are interested ask how you can get involved
• Mission & Evangelism committee will meet March 31 @ 7:00 PM
• Building & Grounds committee will meet April 9th @ 6:00 PM
• Worship & Music committee will meet April 30th @ 6:00 PM
• There is a desperate need for food in Eastern NC. Please send checks to Food Banks of Eastern NC, PO Box 1704, Elizabeth City, NC 27906. Food donations go to 109 Tidewater Way, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
