The Butner Presbyterian Church family is actively involved with a variety of events in and around the community: gleaning apples in Georgia and Virginia, helping feed the hungry in Durham, sponsoring needy children across the world, sponsoring Zumba classes to raise money to dig fresh water wells, providing a basketball ministry for the local youth and supporting a backpack program to provide healthy foods to school age kids.
